2. The Wynning Vision Program Overview
Leave the first responseusually interrupted by others doing it.”
Scott Reed
It is not complicated to improve your eyesight. There is a handful of information that you should be aware of before getting started. Knowing these key points will help you understand how to overcome your vision problems and optimize the results of the program. The key points are:
Summary of the key points
- Glasses cause us to maintain tension in our eyes and make us depend on them to focus correctly.
- Our eyes are made for sunlight and distant vision. We must use these two factors to help us quickly improve and maintain our eyesight.
- Our vision is controlled by a few sets of muscles, the iris, ciliary, and extraocular muscles. Misuse can cause them to tense and cramp forcing us to use corrective lenses to fix the problem. You can train the muscles to work correctly again to restore your vision.
- Our eyes see best one small area at a time. We see sharpest near an area close to the center of the retina called the fovea. We unconsciously practice to see too large of an area when we read or watch TV, and cause the eyes to focus incorrectly. You must practice to look at a small spot on the object you want to see sharply. This will train your eyes to focus correctly again.
- Losing the ability to focus makes us try harder to force the eye muscles to squint and tense in hopes that it will help us see clearly again. This creates strain and develop habits that automatically force our eyes to strain to see. You must learn to let go of this strain.
- Our mind is stressed most of the time. This stress leads to tension that we unconsciously hold in our body muscles and eye muscles. You must learn to handle the stress and let go of this tension.
- Habits cause us to unconsciously repeat the eyestrain and maintain our blurry vision. Habits cannot be erased but we can develop new ones to override and keep the old habits at bay.
I have designed the program in such a straight forward manner that even without the details behind these key points, you can improve your eyesight by simply following the exercise program. The exercise program will help overcome years of eyestrain we developed while using our eyes.
There are two approaches to use this book:
1. Read through the entire book, then start practicing.
2. Read the Wynning Vision Program chapters 7 and 8, and start practicing. As you continue through the rest of the program, read the other chapters to understand why the exercise helps to improve your eyesight and eye health.
I recommend you take the second approach. Vision training is about learning the tools and using them effectively to relax your eye muscles and master correct seeing skills. It is important to take action and see the result. Experiencing the improvement is a great motivator to make this program work for you. As you practice, you may have questions. You can go back to read the other chapters to look for the answers. Improvement requires good old fashion elbow grease — practice, practice, practice — so use the second approach and get started today.
Summary
Learning to improving your vision is like learning to drive a car. You only need to know a few basics parts that controls the car and you can start learning to drive. It takes practice to master good control of the car. The key points and exercises are the basics for vision improvement, and practice is necessary for mastery. Only through practice can you gain experience and awareness needed to overcome years of bad habits. The Wynning Vision Program is easy to learn. It produces result quickly and will guide you through the entire improvement process.
